We are thrilled to announce that our 2025 The Route Team has doubled in size compared to 2024, with 10 passionate riders now signed up to take on The Route in 2025. This year, our team of female amateur cyclists will tackle the incredible challenge of riding all stages of the 2025 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift (TdFFAZ) route, just one day ahead of the professional racers. This monumental ride will raise vital funds for The ATICUS Network, a groundbreaking initiative focused on revolutionising treatments for childhood blood cancer through world-first transplant trials. Cure Leukaemia is proud to be the official UK charity partner of the TdFFAZ.
Our riders come from diverse backgrounds and have personal reasons for taking on this challenge. With participants hailing from America, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates, they are united by their commitment to make a difference.
The 2025 TdFFAZ course, which will span over 1,000 kilometres across various regions of France, includes mountain climbs, winding coastal routes, and an exhilarating final sprint stage into the heart of Paris.
There’s still time for you to join this incredible team of female cyclists. If you’re up for the challenge, click here to sign up.
You can also support the team by donating to help them reach their fundraising goal as they prepare to take on this life-changing challenge this summer.
