The much-anticipated route for the 2025 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift has been revealed, a nine-stage race expected to challenge the world’s top female cyclists across diverse and gruelling terrain. This year’s course, which will span over 1,000 kilometres across various regions of France, includes mountain climbs, winding coastal routes, and an exhilarating final sprint stage into the heart of Paris.

The announcement not only sets the stage for professional cyclists but also spotlights The Route, which will see an all-female team of amateur riders tackle the course one day ahead of the pros to raise funds and awareness for Cure Leukaemia.

A Challenging Course to Push the Peloton to New Limits

Starting in the historic city of Brest in Brittany, the 2025 route will take riders on a scenic and demanding journey featuring several high-altitude climbs. This year’s route balances mountainous tests with flatter segments, testing riders’ versatility and endurance over the nine days of riding.

Organisers are keeping with the Tour’s tradition of dramatic landscapes and challenging ascents, designed to showcase the best in women’s cycling talent and push athletes to their physical limits. The race will conclude in Paris with a final, exhilarating sprint along the Champs-Élysées, mirroring the iconic finish of the men’s race.

Cure Leukaemia’s ‘The Route’ – A Ride for a Cause

Adding to the excitement surrounding this year’s TDFF, The Route features a dedicated team of female amateur riders who are passionate about raising funds to give hope to those living with blood cancer across the globe. Riding each stage one day before the pros, ‘The Route’ team will offer their own display of endurance and determination, riding under the banner of hope and resilience for those affected by leukaemia.

Cure Leukaemia’s initiative not only underscores the mission of the charity but also highlights the growing movement for greater female representation and participation in endurance sports. Each rider has pledged to raise a minimum of £10,000, with the cumulative goal of raising £250,000 to fund the recently announced ATICUS paediatric transplant trials network.

Riding for a Future Beyond the Finish Line

As excitement builds for this year’s race, Cure Leukaemia’s ‘The Route’ serves as a reminder of the power of sport as a catalyst for change. Both the professional riders and the amateurs will push their limits on French soil in 2025, but while one competes for titles, the other rides for a future beyond leukaemia, aiming to make a difference one pedal stroke at a time.

Spaces are filling up fast so don’t miss your chance to be part of The Route team in 2025, tackle all nine stages of the Tour de France Femmes Avec Zwift and help give hope to thousands of children living with blood cancer.
